MISSION
Motherboard for Mental Health brings public events, leading experts, shared resources and informal discussions to the community that advance the cause of addressing mental health and substance use disorders as early as possible, encouraging conversation, shared resources and an end to isolation and stigma.
Bedford Playhouse joined Motherboard for Mental Health in 2019 to establish Let’s Talk Mental Health Series consisting of films with panel discussions by leading experts, shared resources a friendly welcoming space for all, recognizing that healing begins with shared experiences, honest conversations and leading-edge knowledge.
The DAPC joined forces with Motherboard for Mental Health and Let’s Talk in 2020 to forward their shared missions.
The DAPC (Drug Abuse Prevention Council) is a three-town cooperative effort to implement science-based prevention strategies that focus on increasing protective factors and decreasing risk factors associated with alcohol and drug abuse in individuals, families and communities. The Council is comprised of members from each of the three participating towns including Bedford, Lewisboro, and Pound Ridge.
